There are over 20 beaches stretching along a 22-mile coastline with hidden coves along the way. Whatever ‘visiting the beach’ means to you, you are sure to find a place to relax and explore – be it a lively location with watersports and bars, or a quiet cove where you can sit quietly and watch the waves go by. The award-winning Meadfoot beach offers something for everyone and is just a stone’s throw away from the Osborne Apartments resort.

Torquay and the surrounding areas boast some of the finest eateries in South Devon, and with the pleasant climate that the English Riviera has to offer many local cafes and restaurants are set up for dining al fresco right throughout the year. The Osborne Apartments sits nearly on the South West Coast Path from where you can access over 22 miles of stunning coastal walks and country paths which lie within an area of natural beauty and the Unesco Global Geopark. You will find yourself strolling through picturesque farmland and tree-scenic woods with the sea on either side of you. Walks vary from challenging to gentle and there are several routes that are suitable for children or those that are a little less used to walking too far.

Leisure Activities

There is so much to do on land or sea when you are staying in Torquay! Maybe you like a round of golf while you are on holiday? We can link you up with one of the local golf clubs while you are here. Or perhaps you prefer to be on the water?
